"Balinese Studies" of movements in expressive paintings (9/10)

Iz Maglow shows in expressive paintings on paper studies of Balinese people's movements and how they go ahead on their cultural way in the so called "last paradise on earth" in modern times. His expressive and Asian colors following paintings have captured moments that combine ancient traditions with modern influences.

Characteristic for these expressive paintings of Iz Maglow are dominant structures that combine all elements in these pictures and create one single mesh. Doing so the art painter reflects a Bali impressions of most visitors on this tropical island, where all handmade arts, temple carvings and ceremony-decorations melt together to one woven image.

The studies of Balinese people's movements present moments of Balinese daily life during temple ceremonies. These pictures of small ensembles of Balinese people are like an artistic snapshot that describes relationship between people in an expressive style and with colorful colors of tempera and acrylic on paper.
