Humain Ciphers (8/9)

Human ciphers by Iz Maglow are expressive developments of the series Groups in Motion and Idols. The people in these paintings are shadowy figures, merging in unspecified spaces to create meshes of form and color. The resulting highly structured ensembles are intended to give an impression of volatility and randomness. The small canvas prints are of reduced color with few color accents. In their entirety, these human ciphers form expressive traces of transience.
