"A Few in Relationship" are early figurative and nearly black and white paintings about the topic "Figures in Relationship" painted by German Art Artist Iz Maglow. In 2002 the artist used these paintings as an inspiration for a new interpretation in "Leaders & Losers" and in "Groups in Motion". Very typical for this fine art painting are figures in dynamic manners and extreme positions, who are painted in an expressive style on various relics from cardboard or paper. As if black color was fighting white color and the white stroke back again, these figures
narrate the process of their "birth" as "artistic individuals". The reduction of colors
created clear forms opposing each other in expressive ciphers. |
