Soak and Pour Art / Experimental Art Paintings (3/3)

These experimental series were the latest studies of German artist Iz Maglow before he began his work on his "Evaporation" paintings. As an act of painting in these Soak and Pour Paintings the colour is:
running through wet, dry or grease, pasted in thin and sticky layers, soaking into dry canvas or poured on to it and expecting its evaporation.
These Soak and Pour Paintings can be seen as the base for some of Iz Maglow's "Evaporation" art installations, which could be seen in his exhibition in Palais Walderdorff, Trier, Germany (1983).
