German Art Artist Iz Maglow created these tender studies around hairy situations of outlined figures in the year 1982. In his "Hairdressing" series always two drawings were placed together, so that all figures form a relationship to each other. These completely reduced art work suggests a rough impression of hairdressing figure just by a few lines that remind at relict of a drawing. Main aspect in these drawings lies on the thin structure of all kinds of hair and the way the figures are combing it. The fact that always two "HAIRDRESSING" are related to each other takes away some privacy of
this intimate act and reminds more at some kind of a "do it yourself hairdressing contest". |
