"Chairs" by Iz Maglow - Sculpture and Art Object

The Dutch Art Magazine t' Circuit wrote about the sculptures and art objects of Iz Maglow in 1990: "...the German Art Artist has specially referred to situations of 'standing or sitting - facing one another', of 'sitting and waiting or expecting something'. All their dialog and their silence are living from their common impressions..."

Chairs or better said art objects using the furniture "chair" as a starting point and as a source for inspiration, German Art Artist Iz Maglow has transformed in his fine art painting and in his sculptures and art objects in a very different way. Most often this German Artist used for his art objects materials like wood, glass and plastic, always covered with many thick and monochrome layers of acrylic.
